I know I have extreme socail anxiety, and had to leave highscool because of it, and I know I have it.

Anyone who is dealing with the same thing can you offer advice with me?

I used to have panic attacks about everything in school, but what's worse is I was never open about it and I was passive aggressive. Then a whole bunch of people wanted to kill me just because I said something over the INTERNENT about them, and I ******* freaked out and had to quit.

I also have extreme acne conditions on my arms/face/chest/back which is extremely frustrating and affects my self esteem so much.

Another thing is, I'm afraid fo going places like doctors, therapists, or anything too because of social anxiety.

Hunny, everything began with Power of The Mind. For those of you who have not heard of Napoleon Hill he was one of the early teachers of the power of the mind. The basic principle is that whatever your mind can imagine it can create. How does it do this? What your mind thinks, sees, believes, feels is all sent to your subconscious mind power. it's great partner. Your Subconscious then works with the universe and creates your reality based on the messages that began in your mind. But its not enough to simply imagine it and then hope it happens. That's not the way it works. If you can imagine it you can achieve it but you need to know how to use the power of your mind. Your mind can create wonderful things for you if you know how to use it and how to send the right messages to your subconscious. Most people don't know how to do this. Instead, you go through life never really using the power of your mind.

Did you know that doctors now firmly believe that 75% of all sickness and disease start in the mind? 75-Percent! That's a very large amount. That means that 75% of all the people who are sick today -- are only sick because they did not know how to use their mind. Doctors will even tell you that most sickness and disease are caused by stress. This is another event that starts in the mind. Scientists have long said that we only use 10% of our mind. 10-percent that's it. Think of going through life only spending 10-percent of your salary? Could you do it? No! Yet you go through life only using 10% of your mind. That 10-percent is creating 75% of all sickness because we don't even know how to use it properly. Now imagine if you just used 10% of our mind correctly? What would happen? What would happen if we learned to use 90% of our mind correctly? The results would be astounding! Your mind is an incredible power but no one ever taught you how to use this power. Throughout your entire life you've been taught how to do everything but no one ever taught you how to use your mind. Creating Power teaches you how to use your the power of your mind. I'm not saying that if you work with the Creating Power System you'll start using all of your mind correctly. But I do know that you'll begin using the power of your mind to its full potential and that is enough to create the change you want. Would you drive a car if you didn't know how to drive? No. You would have someone teach you. Why then would you try to use the power of your mind when you don't know how? Yet you do it everyday and you get the results that you don't want. If you want to change your life. If you want to use your mind correctly and utilize all its power then you need the Creating Power System. And it's completely Guaranteed!

Just Remember... Creating Power Gives You The Power To Believe In Your Self and do anything you want.

Oh.. I feel so bad for you. I think I have that to a degree too. I wish I could tell you what to do. I have never tried anti-anxiety medication like xanax because you need a prescription. Maybe if you ever went to the doctor it could be prescribed. Some hospitals may have programs but I know you are too anxious to call and go to that. Are you too anxious to go to a hypnosis or for accupuncture? Maybe that would help, but really I do not know. Probably the best thing would be if you had a friend. Look on internet to see if they have any social anxiety support groups, then you wouldn't be all alone. I know it would be scary to go though but maybe if you really pushed yourself and tried to think of something different. And once you met a friend with the same problem you would feel so much better. Good luck. I wish I could help.
Oh, and I guess you have to go to a doctor for the acne also. If you could clear that up you would feel better. Maybe somewhere there is a really nice doctor that would treat you kindly. Perhaps you can have someone call for you to make the appointment and have them explain your shyness so the doctor will understand and not be gruff. Good luck

You definately nedd to see a psychiatrist to get some meds to help you overcome this.....get there no matter what it takes and then you can start living again. This takes time but it will get better if you get treatment. There are meds for anxiety like buspar that is non-addictive, I took it after I was hospitalized and could not deal with going to work or even out of the house. That med helped me stop thinking everyone was judging me or could hear what I was thinking. Alot of times anxiety is brought on by depression so that needs to be treated too. Finish school online and get to the doctor for treatment you have your whole life ahead of you....ask someone you trust to drive you and wait for you so your not alone. Once your brain chemistry is straightened out you will be amazed how the rest of the symptons start to dissapear and you can actually see the answers clearly annd so beautifully I might add it is truly freedom to start healing from these disorders, just like people with high blood pressure need meds...so do we...get what your body needs.. go for it melissa

I used to have panic attacks all of the time. Everytime Id go out in public Id get clammy, nausias, heart palpitations, etc. etc. It began to effect my stomach and I couldnt eat anything-- it sucked. I thought that I was dying because of my weight and felt like I was dying because of my anxiety attacks. Then the attacks started coming on for no reason... that's when I went to the hospital... that's when I became medicated. I started takign paxil (and was also diagnosed with thyroid disease at the same time)... once I began taking those meds-- I felt 1000 times. Ive been taking paxil for almost 6 years. I stopped taking it once, and soon realized that I did need it. Some people only need it for a while and some need it more long term.

Also things that raise your seretonin are good: like exercise, dark chocolate, sex... (I recommend the exercise!:o))

Good luck... feel better!!

Relaxation is the best medicine for anxiety. Breath with a conscious effort - Deep in, hold 4 sec, out slow, hold 2 sec, deep in slowly, hold 4 sec, over and over (while parked).

Other advice, think about something else while going to an event that makes you anxious. One step at a time. Not everyone is watching you, and they don't care what you do. So, think RELAX, RELAX, and breath. State your business, and get on with it.

You may have a guilty conscious also - if you said something about people - you should avoid speaking out against people - no one likes that. You will feel more comfortable too.

Since you seem to be comfortable using the internet, I suggest seeing if you can e-mail with a doctor-recommended therapist who may be able to help you find ways to help yourself.

Have you found anything that helps dispel the panic attacks? I've heard of some people who write down what's going on when they have panic attacks and try to see if there's a common trigger, etc.

If you're still high school age, it may also be a hormonal thing, which would need to be diagnosed and treated by doctors.

Good luck. I hope you find a way to overcome your obstacles.

I was shy from 9 to 21 years, at least.

Practise got rid of most of it.

I may still suffer from calligynephobia, occasionally (fear of beautiful women).

I find the idea of panic attacks theoretically interesting. For example, a racing heart could be a source of anxiety to someone if they were prone to hypochondria. That would generate more racing of the heart, and hyperventilating, making them feel worse.

I believe most of us are healers and are needed to help others. A positive person is always in short supply.

Try to help other people...

I feel sorry for your fears, and to you they are BIG and unable to face, right? As a teen, or younger individual you not only have all these raging hormones to deal with, but peer preasure can be the most unsettling thing to deal with. It would be wise for you or your mom to look for some sort of acne meds, so you can begin to feel better about yourself, but YOU do know that isn't what its about. It is an allness only a doc. or therapist can help diagnosis, Yah I know going out is hard, but if going out to a therapist is your 1st step. You're sick and there are meds to help you regain YOU! I can only tell you what I dealt with.

DEFINITELY!! Before I started working in law enforcement I would avoid any kind of social setting or interaction like the plague. Now, it doesn't bother me. I realized that people treat you like a freak after you act like one. If you make a mistake and obsess, they will to. People really don't care that much. The only one that knows you're scared is you.
