I dont mean to be a witch but being a breeder doesnt make you always right. Seemed like in your answer to my question you liked putting me in my place, so I felt I needed to correct you. If you can prove me wrong, I will completely apologize to you.

I was never "putting you in your place" -- I was answering your question. It's a complex question (which is why my answer was long, and could have been longer!), and I've been dealing with it for YEARS.
As a breeder, I may not always be right. But at least I'm willing to learn!
Now, if you mean "putting you in your place" about the Lost Boys dog, I just think it's funny that someone would fall in love with one breed on-screen, and then wind up with a different breed. I wasn't trying to be rude about that.
People who don't know better get the two breeds confused all the time.
As for proving you wrong...again, if you're talking about the whole "Nanook" thing? Looks like plenty of other people have done that for me.
Never trust Wikipedia.

Nanook (Name of alasken malamute that starred in the very awesome movie "The Lost Boys"; cute, kind, caring, perfect)

What breed of dog is Nanook?
Nanook, played by a beautiful dog named Cody, is an Alaskan Malamute. The two breeds do look quite similar; they are both sled dogs and both "Arctic breeds." But the Malamute almost always has brown eyes (I'd say about 99% of the time), and the Malamute is a larger dog with a broader head than the Siberian Husky. Malamute's ears are set farther apart on their heads and are rounder at the tips than Huskies'. Incidentally, it's been said that Cody went on to play "Wolf" in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. When he passed away, his son Chaz continued in the role.

According to the screenplay....
"SAM,
11, a victim of too many afternoons in shopping malls
watching Bratpack movies, sits next to her in his trendy
duds, suffering the foreign coastline with his large
Malamute dog NANOOK."

Just FYI - you do realize that Wikipedia entries are created and edited by the general public? So not be taken as gospel necessarily.

issues that problem me: a million. Breeding 3 diverse breeds with out doing some thing (operating, showing, etc.) with any of them. They make aspect out of one Siberian being their "astounding lead canines", yet I see no different information that they artwork their dogs. They declare of their FAQ that they coach their dogs in conformation, obedience, and agility, yet I see no information of that, both. They do, in spite of the undeniable fact that, promote "coach prospect" doggies on finished registration...and that i must ask your self even if or not they even comprehend the thanks to judge a pup for coach ability, seeing as they have under no circumstances complete a canines's championship. 2. making use of APRI registration. This registry become created with the aid of/for the advertisement breeding marketplace, and is many times in hardship-free words used at the same time as AKC registration can't be obtained (because the canines become extremely offered on constrained reg, or bred with the aid of someone suspended with the aid of the AKC, etc.) 3. No information of genetic sorting out. The lifetime guarantees are tremendous, yet in the adventure that they don't seem to be extremely doing any sorting out, they don't seem to be doing themselves, the dogs, or the breed any favors. perhaps they do try, in spite of the undeniable fact that that is not any longer suggested on the positioning. 4. Averaging 6-8 litters in accordance to twelve months. i'm also afflicted with the aid of the particular incontrovertible reality that they use countless copyrighted pictures on their website (of dogs they do no longer own), and their area on "Seppala Siberians" is somewhat naive. this isn't a breeder i ought to heavily evaluate for a pup, in conserving with their website. note that web pages do not continually tell the completed tale, in spite of the undeniable fact that; you particularly favor to work out the kennel in human being and ask them about issues that ought to problem you.
