Ok what to do for any dog to stop peeing and pooping in the house is when he/she does it in the house stick its nose in it and tell him bad.(l know its a bit harsh but it works) after clean it up and make sure you use detergent or something that has a smell in it to prevent him trying to go there again. Also its good to let him out after he/she has eaten. And a clue to look for when a dog needs to go, is when he starts to sniff allot.

If it's a small pup start researching ways to housebreak it. My sister used a crate (which DOES NOT torture dogs and IS NOT like sticking them in a cage)...dogs love it, it's like their den. Once you leave them in the crate (make sure to give it little space to start with so it doesn't poop or pee in a far corner because then it won't be bothered by it) only let the dog out at specific times every day to go to the bathroom. It won't go in it's crate because the crate represents it's room. After a few months of training the yorkie not to go in the crate, try the house.

I forgot most of the specific details on crate-training but you can look it up easily on wikipedia.com or google.

Yorkies are notoriously hard to potty train. I've even heard (repeatedly) that some of them never get it. Go back to potty training basics. Treat him like he were an 8 week old pup and be very very patient and consistent. Crate training can be very beneficial to potty training and he is old enough to be able to hold it for several hours. Being a tiny breed he has a tiny bladder though and may not be able to hold it for 8 hours while you're working like a larger dog could.

Look up crate training. It involves putting your puppy on a schedule so it knows when to pee, and putting it in a crate until it's not trained so it knows not to go in the crate. Eventually it learns that as soon as you take it out of the crate (at specific times of the day) you will take it immediately outside, and then it will go to the potty and you'll be happy with it! It might protest being in a crate for a while, but put some toys in there and it will probably help.

The first thing to remember about housetraining a puppy is there ability to hold themselves is limited. a rule of thumb is they can hold "it" usually 1 hour for each month of age. 2 month= 2 hours, 3 month= 3 hours, etc. when your puppy wakes up (morning, nap, whatever) the pup has to go, right then! take the pup out. when the pup eats or drinks, it has to go, take the pup out. after exercise (play), take the pup out. when the pup does it's thing outside praise it. a lot. tell the pup how good, how smart it is. you have to pay attention to the pups "looking for it's spot" behavior. when you see that behavior indoors, whisk the pup out. if you catch the pup in the act, simply tell it "NO!" and whisk it outside. if you find a puddle or pile after the fact, clean it up with an enzyme cleaner (pet food store) get a newspaper and hit.... yourself in the head and say "i should have been paying more attention" daytime training they get pretty fast. night time training is easier if you crate train the pup. also remember the one hour/one month rule. you will have to get up through the night to take the pup out. good luck

you keep the dog in a kennel, then every 1/2 hour to 1 hour, take the dog outside to the bathroom, if it goes, then it gets to stay out of the kennel for half an hour. If it doesn't go, then it goes back in the kennel until next time. It'll learn that if it wants to stay out of that kennel, it's bathroom is outside. It's worked for both dogs that I've trained.

for one once their scents there that's a problem. use wee wee pads and put dog pants on them with a pad. is it maole or female? they make both and i just buy reg, pad for woman and cut them to size and put one in their pants........dogs don't like to pee on their self so this worked for me. don't leave their food or water down all the time either......nothing going in - nothing comming out.......get it ? feed and water them on a schedual........leave the pants on them......after they eat wait ten minutes and put them outside....of coarse remove the pants first. if your gone to work or any lenghth of time........put them in a crate.
