judge not lest ye be judged? I expect to be judged. I judge everyone I meet. If I meet you, I judge whether or not you'd be a good person to spend more time with, or if you'd drain me, or make my life worse. You have to do that. Do I let others walk all over me? or do I use my best "judgement" and take action based on how I judge our interaction? HUH?

i should also add, as I expect to be judged, I'm flattered when someone judges me worthy to have me as a friend.

There are two different types of Judgement spoken of in the bible.
The first is damnation. We are told not to judge in this way at all.
Never tell somebody they are going to live eternally in Hell. That is between them and God.
The second type of judgement in the bible is discernment. We are to discern who and what we are around. We judge or decide who our children can be around, we judge or decide who we fellowship with, etc.
Love is the same way in the bible, only I believe there are three different Greek words for love, all meaning different types of love we are to show and have for one another.

Hmm.. that is old english .. it means do not try to pass verdict on others as you may not like it when they pass verdict on you. Not everything we judge and pass verdict upon is correct. We may think we are right but in God's eyes we may not be right. We are not perfect and hence we are not right in what we judge all the time. So avoid passing verdicts so be on safe side and not make incorrect judgements.
Yes you should definitely try to understand and judge everyone you deal with but don't get very rigid about what you judge. be ready to change your judgement if required.

I think the point is not to judge others in God's place. Like not to condemn some and deem others righteous. We will all be judged by him some day. Since we don't know everything we can't condemn someone and should never think of ourselves as better than somebody else. It's a very biased person who thinks that he or she can decide what God will do to somebody, or who is "saved" and who isn't.

Sanity is a legal term - not a psychological term. It in basic terms ability that somebody replaced into unable to make a good judgment on the time they committed against the regulation and should not be held in charge, so as that they get despatched to a psychological wellness center as a replace of detention center. i realize it rather is not what you have been rather finding for. in case you do not have an thought of absolute reality, then you definately're up a creek. If for you, each and every thing is subjective and relies upon on attitude, then you definately'll in no way get a passable answer. For me, there is an absolute reality - it rather is God and we are His little ones, so specific we are actual.

It is human nature to judge, but you can fight your nature.
Always ask yourself "What is going on here that I can't
see? What am I missing?"
If you see a homeless person and you ask yourself that,
you can imagine lots of different ways that he or she might
have become homeless - rather than just react in disgust
to the filth they are currently forced to live in.
You will always judge - but there should always be an appeal.

it is easy not to judge you, what you think and do is your business I am no better or worse so how can I judge or justify judging you???... We choose our own paths. What works for you may not work for me, and vice versa! So if I say you were wrong and judged you for it because it didn't work for me doesn't mean that the choice or what you did turned out to be wrong for you... So I find it easy not to judge..

Who ever said Gods work would be easy. I don't believe he means not to decide whether a person is a good person or not. I think what he means by that is if you see someone doing something wrong, don't "damn" them, instead, go minister to them, and see if you can help them get back on the right path.

hmmm, yeah I agree. I think we have to judge people to some extent. I think the bible is full of lots of unrealistic advice, and even advice which you wouldn't want to follow. I think that it's okay to be discerning in who you associate with, and that of course can only be done by judging people. Otherwise we would have to just indiscriminately be friends with everyone

It is talking about judging others without knowing all the facts and condeming them to Hell when you don't really know their heart. If I tell you that you are going to Hell, how do I really know that for sure? Do I really know you? That is what it is talking about, not everyday judgements you need to make.

Luke 6..
A Tree and Its Fruit
43"No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. 45The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.
2cor 6:14
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness?
