I have been protesting George w. Bush and his policies since 2000 in public forums. I am a retired military man and a combat veteran. I have never been questioned or harassed because of my political views which are anti-government and anti-religious.
If you are breaking a law or making threats against people then you deserve to be harassed. Protest is a valid form of involvement with the government and woe be upon the constituency that allows the government free reign. I say protest loudly, but never make threats or break the law. You will never hav friends in the establishment, but unless you cross the line you will be safe. And yes, this this is a free country.

Get a little more specific than how President Bush is doing things. I'm more concerned by how much is confiscated from achievers (the rich) in taxes. I would like to someday have an estate worth leaving to my two daughters. However, you would be suprised by how easy it is to move into the 40% tax bracket. It's pretty tough work building a nest egg when the federal government takes almost half what you EARN. This is a true lose of freedom. Having a government program that monitors Americans that call Osama in a time of war is hardly a loss of freedom. Just let me guess, you're a member of (dumb)democrate under ground.

What kind of crowd do you run with that you are getting regular visits from the FBI or other not so obvious agencies. I'm free, but then again I am not a criminal, so I have nothing to fear. If you make any derogatory comments about the President, of course you are going to get a "visit". That is their job to protect the President. They take all threats serious, so I would be a little more careful about spouting off stupid statements about doing harm to the President. FYI, this policy goes for ALL Presidents.

Free er than almost any other place in the World!
You felt free to ask this question.
Is the FBI at your door for asking?
Yes, we have been losing freedoms here and there but the USA is still the most freedom loving Country, in the World.

I am very free and I like Bush as president. You can object to Bush all you want. They can't do anything about it. Not even the FBI. Not like this is a dictatorship. As long as you aren't doing anything threatening to him. It's called freedom of speech. That sounds like freedom to me.

Why I feel free :
- I can wake up every morning in my middle-class home in my comfortable bed.
- I can then go upstairs and eat a gluttonous breakfast.
- Then I can get in my gas guzzling SUV and drive somewhere else in the country, and eventually I can see almost every kind of geography there is to see in the world. Plains, deserts, mountains, swamps, it's all right here underneath me. I also have huge art museums, history centers, libraries, the Statue of Liberty, the Redwood Forest, the Rocky Mountains, the Golden Gate Bridge.
- I enjoy college football and NFL with millions of other rowdy and crazy Americans. I enjoy baseball and golf and soccer and lacrosse and chess and Counter Strike and white water rafting and rock climbing and electro-shock-therapy and surfing and skydiving and nipple-torture and pronography and speeding.
- I can vote for my leader, even if I end up hating him. I can also elect my congressman, my senator, my sheriff. And if I don't want to I don't have some asshole country trying to shove their government down my throat. Oh yeah, and we beat England up GOOD (:-P).
- We do, regardless of what people think, have more rights and more opportunities in this country than in many other countries and nations in the world.
- I can open my own business easily and get lots of help from SBA or private investors.
- I can write a novel, a screenplay, a how-to book.
- I can go to a full nude strip club, night club, or rave party.
- I can drag race my car or motorcycle and use nitrous.
- I have unlimited and easy access to internet, world-wide phone calls, tv with 500 channels, thousands of movies and limitless music.
- I can get almost any type of education I want and with qualifications work almost any type of job.
- I can get, and stay, filthy rich.
- Oh yeah, I have access to information about any religion I want. Regardless of influence, I have the individual and totally free choice to praise almost any god I'd like to.
Most importantly, I'm just happy. I don't WANT like other people in some other countries want. My freedoms may be excessive or they may be limited compared to ANYONE ANYWHERE. But how free am _I_ in the USA? Free enough, my friend. Free enough.
YES, lots of other countries have these freedoms. But America does, too. Our government may be isolating us right now, but they'll make their decisions without me in that respect.
In terms of MY life, I feel VERY free in the United States.
I OBJECT to President Bush and his way of doing things. I think he is a terrible and cruel leader and I think if he got assisnated the world would laugh hysterically.
Let's see if I get a visit.
And when I don't, I feel even free-er.
