Most police agencies will let you slide, as MOST speedos are wrong by 3-5mph, but I guess some are strict.

I haven't gotten a ticket in years, because I stay UNDER the speed limit to save gas.

yea many friends i know got tickets for going 4-5 mph above the speed limit but this is the law ,,,

i am wondering, if my speed indicator gives 6 or 7 mph less than the real speed how would i know prove that to the police officer

yes I have heard of someone getting a ticket at just 2 miles over the limit

Ohio does that all the time! Those pr*cks will write you at 1 MPH over! PA used to but have eased off a bit lately.

no because Most of the time cops will leave you alone as it is too much paperwork but if you are stopped in a residential or contruction the will as you could potentially hurt someone like a kid or worker keep it at the speed limit and don't worry about it

Yes in 1999, I got one for going 3 miles over. I was pissed, because he pulled me over as I was turning on my street. I just took traffic school and got it over with.

In OHIO, they give tickets for doing 56MPH in a 55MPH zone...
