try putting it up, as in a ponytail, pigtails, or the one-sided braid.
Or you could try using extra volume shampoo to get that extra bounce.

Call around for a consultation with another stylist. Ask if they charge. Some do and some don't. Talk to her and get a trust feel for her and if you think she knows what she's doing and understands you. If you feel trust with her then go for it. You're going to have to deal with the fact that it is shorter now, so you might as well have a cute style while you and your new stylist let it grow out. I would also have it trimmed every 6 weeks so it looks good while and after it has gotten to the length you like.

Is your hair curly? If it is, I suggest a ponytail with it volumized on top...so cute. Also you can try putting it in a parted ponytail and leave a lot out around your face....about where bangs would be. then sweep the part that's out of the ponytail up and back and bobby pin it to your head. You can also do these styles with straight hair. Hope I helped!

Same exact situation in my case. But not only did I get a bad cut I got bangs which the chick just assumed I wanted. Now I look like an eight year old.
I've found that loose pigs, (Strait or loose curls), is cute. You can also do a messy pony tail, messy bun, and then just stratning it or curling it and leaving it down looks cute too.
Hope I helped.

My older sister just got a short hair cut that she didn't like! She came home very upset, but it is growing on her. Try wearing it in a ponytail with some loose hair in front to sweep to the side, kind of like long bangs. A good stylist will usually say that if you are dissatisfied within a week to come back and they'll fix it at no cost. Try that.
If you do go back and have it redone, and you're still not happy, don't return to that salon again. Or else ask for a different stylist, but that could be awkward, I guess.

if it is not in layers alredy, get it in layers. add side swept bangs.
it will look hott down and in a 1/2 pony.
if you don't wanna cut it again, that is very understandabnle, then just put it in a 1/2 pony a lot of the time, the guys really go for it,
