As a rule of thumb, each drink can take up to an hour to pass. If I remember correctly, I seem to have read like 12 hours since your LAST drink it is safe to drop for a piss test.

I (respectfully) disagree with the RN. While supervising the jail's work crew, I asked D.O.C about it. Answer I got is that it'll be detectable by blood/urine testing 24 hours after the drink. The EFFECTS wear off at 1drink per hour, but the traces are there...

Usually 24-36 hours. But alcohol is usually found during a PBT(Breathalyzer) test.
