Both, actually. In the last 25 years I've owned 3 dogs and 2 cats. At present just 1 cat. The others have all passed away. And yes, I miss them.

I'm definatly a cat lover. I have 2 cats. male/female who are both spayed/neutered. I luvvvvvvvv Blackie and T.J soooooooooo much!!! They're my babies!! cats are just as affectionate as dogs in my opinion. cats are soooo much more easier to take care of to. you never really have to worry about them. don't get me wrong though, dogs are ok, but I prefer cats more than dogs. give me a cat over a dog anyday! =^-^=

Dogs definitely. More affectionate, not scary with razor claws and razor teeth, not as bitchy as cats. They don't stick their butts in your face "to show affection" (as my friend says it is doing). They can be taught (tricks, obedience). You can play and snuggle with them.
