I have looked into many Eastern Religions. I generally find them more palatable than the "Big 3" father-worship religions of the west, but mythology is mythology no matter how you cut it.

I didn't actually try an Eastern philosophy but I did look seriously at becoming a buddahist after I had the honor of meeting the Dahli Llama a few years ago. If I ever WAS to accept a formal religion, I honestly believe that would be the one because it's tenants and beliefs most closely match my own.

I am agnostic, but I have studied all forms of religion. Some scholars say that they have actually found some evidence that Jesus may have done the same thing.

Buddhism is a religion that does not have belief in a personal god and the numerous successful Chinese & Japanese & Oriental people seem QUITE HAPPY that way!

Not tried it, studied it.
It doesn't serve my life effectively. It serves the philosophy and its existence well. My life is more valuable than their philosophy.

No. Why would we? One religion is the same as another; completely unbelievable.
