My friend saves her nail cuttings - which I find odd. Should I be worried?

Everyone needs a hobby, there is nothing wrong with it. Would you rather her collect used tampons, dead cats, or dog feces.

There is a mental illness for people who hoard things.They will collect the oddest things so they can have them in the future.She may be afraid she "needs" them for something someday,and if she discards them,she will need them.This is what some would term as a pack rat.They can't help this need to save things.She needs to get into counseling.

Its not the best sounding hobby, but I had a teacher in high school who made soap from his... get her some help.
