I am getting my hair highlighted with foil. I have brown hair. What color should I get?

Don't get red highlights, they wash out and fade waaayy too quickly. I would recommend piecey caramel highlights. Just make sure they don't give you chunky highlights instead, I think that kind looks trashy. And finally, make sure they don't highlight your bangs or anything. Make sure your natural color is in front, then proceed to highlights. Actually, I've gotten black lowlights before, as well, and they look REALLY nice in brown hair.

I would get a sun touch. It is a little blond. Then if it is like yellow in black you could probably tone it out a bit. That would look cute. Or get some red highlights.

If you have dark brown hair and skin then go with the caramel colors. If your hair and skin are lighter you can go with a lighter color. but I would stay away from the white blonde.

if you have darker brown hair, get dark honey and red higlights. don't get anything too light or too thick, you want your highlights to look natural! if you're hair is lighter brown, still go for red highlights, but in a lighter shade. also go for reaaally dirty blonde!

TIP: when you're going to dye your hair the color you pick will appear lighter in your hair. so be careful!

i would go with an auburn or caramel shade...don't get blonde, its just not natural enough and guys don't go for that.
