Going on missions that convert others to believe in christianity when they already have a long standing religious belief. ie: Missions to Africa. Sure, they provide food and medical attention which is greatly needed, but why must they push this religion on people?

My sister has gotten into that stuff...I think shes perfectly annoying about it too. I don't want anyone's beliefs crammed down my throat, but I'll tell them anything I want to hear, if I am starving.

But really, who is going to take a fat, rich, white girl like my sister seriously in Africa...

If people want to go offer aid, food, medical, whatever, I think that is great. But the last thing they need is religion shoved in their faces.

I think it is great. They provide these people will food, medical attention and many other things they need. And they also offer education about a different way of thinking. If they are strong in there beliefs they will be happy for the help and continue believing as they always have. If not may be they will be happy to find a new faith. Just because I am an Atheist does not mean I think everyone should think like me.

Remember the Native American Indians, conform or die. I'd rather die at the tip of a sword then convert to your ignorance. We should be evolving not digressing.

It is deplorable. They often cause much war and strife in other countries, competing with the dominant religion there.

I suggest you read 'Silence' by Shusaku Endo.
