Pros: Your Dad is given an opportunity that is hard to resist and this is not only for him but for all of your family too. you should be glad with this. You're going to meet new friends, youre going to have a new experience in that state and it sounds like fun to me. Maybe this means a lot to your Dad and i guess you must support him with this.

Cons: as you said, it will interfere with your junior year of high school. psat, sat, ring dance, the PROM, your 18th birthday. The only cons i can think is the adjustment you have to make with the new environment.

Well it sounds like you have covered the cons. On the pros side if he is making more money you can probably enjoy a few more activities with the new friends you make. It is not your Senior year so you still have time to find the perfect prom date. They still give the psat and sat no matter where you move. I am not sure when you turn 18 but hopefully you will have some new friends to celebrate with by then. If not a trip to visit your old friends for a celebration would make a wonderful present.
If you stay you will miss your family. If you go you will miss your friends. As for me I would chose to move with my family.

If you didnt go with the family how would you support yourself? Dont have much choice but to suck it up and go with them...Im sure they didnt just decide to move to screw with your prom.

you need to be with your family, for many reasons, this will only make you stronger and able to adapt to different situations. I think it would be good for you to stay with your family till you turn 21, or away to college , whichever comes first.
