How many people here have prayed recently for an answer to prayer. Did you receive that answer to prayer? Even if it wasn't what you liked?
If not, do you only pray when you want something or do you have a daily relationship with God?
(Think about that daily relationship. How would you respond to someone if they only came to you when they wanted something. Would you be willing to help a person who only came to you when they wanted something, or would you be willing to help the person who has a relationship with you?)

Just wanted to say, I'm sorry if this sounds judgmental or offensive.
Because my hope is that people will understand that if we treat God as simply a being who is there for us when we want him and not think about him otherwise, we really have no right to expect answers. God gives answers to pray to those to truly seek a relationship with Him.

Blessings to everyone who reads this.

I have prayed that God will give me patience and understanding and He gave it to me. I've asked for wisdom, for contentment, for love and He gave it to me. And now I'm sharing it with others and even though some might now accept it, I still share. I have a daily relationship with God and I love Him! He is where I found all my peace, love, and satisfaction. With Him, I feel complete and soo joyful!

I do believe in answers to prayers! Some have been answered.
I also have a daily relationship with God. As fas as someone going to him only when they have a problem...God is much more patient and understanding and less judgmental then we are but of course he would love to have a personal relationship with everyone.

I am praying 5 times per day. It is daily relationship with God ( Allah). When I complete my usual pray I am asking God if I need or want something.

It is only for your benefits. When you pray several times per day you remember God oftener, means you make less sins..

Well frankly speaking, whatever before I used to ask, I have got. But I believe that God Himslef knows what you need.
Sometimes if even your wish did not come true after pray- who knows may be it is only for your benefits..

Yes, every prayer is answered, and I do have a daily relationship with God, and I find myself praying quite often during the course of a day. He is always with me, and my mind somehow always finds Him.

Nothing fails like prayer. Studies have shown that it accomplishes nothing, except maybe to make the person praying feel good.

One person with a shovel can do much more than a million people praying.
