At work on doughnut / bagel days (Thursdays--it's free).
Favorites are Boston Creme (with chocolate covering, and creme filling), chocolate covered cake doughnuts (not the glazed), and chocolate covered glazed doughnuts.

I love Krispy Kremes, but that's not really my favorite .... Mom and Pop types tend to attract me the most. They actually try to make their donuts good instead of just trying to coast on a franchise name. My single favorite type of donut is an apple fritter. I usually eat half save the rest for later. (three times the donut, only a little more money !!)

Krispy Kreme!!!! I love their Original Glazed donuts! Dunkin Donuts were always too dry when I'd get them. Plus, for some reason DD won't just put the glaze on the WHOLE donut instead of half of it. That sucks.

Either Krispy Kreme glazed or Dunkin Donuts white cream filled, depending on my mood :)

Krispy Kreme: Plain glazed only if still hot; otherwise, Sour Cream cake donuts
Dunkin Donuts: Chocolate Honey Dipped (do they still make these? haven't had them in years! Choc. cake donut)

Dunkin Donuts!....we need one in my town *sigh* (or I need to move to New England where they're like freakin Starbucks)
I actually just like the ones that look like tractor wheels...I know there's some fancy name for em but I can't think of it.

Krispy Kreme is overrated... I like the mom and pop stores, glazed bars or swirls are the best!
