Because their not really a chip. Their fake. Yuck, I hate Pringles. Lay's Potato Chips are much better. Cant eat just one.

I would guess they use some sort of mold to cut the chips... it'd have to be before they're fully crispy or else they'd crack real easy.
This looks like it should be on a show on the Discover Channel.

Yes, they are mashed, formed and if BBQ, or Cheese, it is
sprayed on one side.
An interesting show.

They are called Pringles crisps... they don't have any potatoes in it. It's mainly flour and grease! So the probably just have molds, I don't know!
