Because it's in Human Nature, not just humans , but nature period, Lion's hate hyenas, Ivy will strangle other plants if its gets the chance.. If the world was truly peaceful would it really be a world where you would want to live. Everyone helping each other out, no anger, nothing. Stepford wives and Husbands and Kids, pets too. Hate is bad, but its just part of the world, like gravity and other unchangeable things.

The primary cause for hatred in the world is religion and religious conflict.

Religion is responsible for the majority of wars, conflict and murder of innocent life since humanity began. There is considerable evidence to classify religion as evil, and talk of religion (Gods etc) should be banned. Because the records prove over and over again throughout humanity that religion is clearly responsible for crimes against humanity, taking part in any religious activity should also be outlawed and made a criminal offence.

The world would be a much happier and peaceful place if religion ceased to exist. Although there are some decent religious believers and preachers, they are unwittingly spreading evil around our world, and that they should simply keep their beliefs and thoughts to themselves in the best interests of humanity, or suffer the consequences for their actions.

People should consider that the world would be like Heaven if religion ceased to exist, but all the believers and preachers have turned the planet into Hell.

I think Scientists will soon explain why some people are religious and believe in God, and why there’s so much trouble caused in the world by religion. Scientists have already shown that some people carry a "warrior" gene that makes them more prone to violence and criminal acts.

Some people are genetically predisposed to violence and criminal acts, and I believe scientists have also found that some people are genetically predisposed to religious or spiritual acts, but have yet to publish their full findings to avoid a public uproar.

Scientists may well discover that people who are predisposed to the “religious or spiritual” gene are probably more likely to also be predisposed to the “warrior” gene, which would ultimately cause these people to have religious conflicts like crusades and wars. It is already a well known fact that religion is responsible for the majority of wars, conflict and murder of innocent life since humanity began.

There must be a rational explanation why religious people act in such an irrational manner. Perhaps when resolved we will understand why there is so much hatred, but we may not be able to do much about it.

Because humans are selfish---selfishness breeds hate, as wanting for only the self denies others. The only antidote is selflessness. Unfortunately, most humans are incapable of total selflessness 24/7/365 their whole lives long.

You can't give something away unless you have it yourself. We can't love if we don't have it......The world is so full of hate because the people are so full of hate.

We choose to hate and not love.

[Quote Julia:]
Most people do. Most people want to.

It's just the tiny few hardcore fanatics and nutcases who don't.
[End Quote]

I agree with Julia. I think we may disagree on who the nutcases and hardcores are, but I agree with her statement.

Because man loves his sin (which includes hatred) and thinks its okay to hate others. In Christianity if you hate it's like commiting murder in your heart and God despises it.

as long as people raise their kids to hate and be intolerant of anyone/anything that's different, we'll never totally be rid of it. those of us who don't hate just have to keep trying to show them the way....
