First off, from experience, find out why they disapprove. Are you too young? Is he not right for you. As much as you hate it, they might have some feeling that you have not thought of. If, you've considered everything, and you do want to go ahead and get married, just have a heart to heart talk with them, inforcing the fact that you have listened to their ideas. Happy Wedding!

first of all you have to sit down with them but have your fiance with you like it or not he's going to be part of the family. and have him do it the old fashion to ask for hand in marriage but listen if they turn him down be prepared to be the grown up. and tell them you are willing to get married even if they don't approve but it will mean so much to you if they where to be a part of your special day.... member keep an even tone voice and good luck!

Listen to the arguements of the family. Is your other controlling, bad with money, disrespectful to you? These are legitimate concerns. If they just don't like him then inform them you are eloping and do it.
