most teachers should give a list of school supplies... why don't you check with the teachers?? or... most will give out a supply list that you will need for that class on the 1st day.

I've taught sixth grade. The first day bring some paper, either a copybook or loose leaf, and a pencil and pen. Maybe a couple of pens. And maybe a school bag. (I know some schools don't allow pens.) The teacher will tell you what she wants you to get for the year and when she wants you to have them. I always hated it when parents went out and bought all this stuff for a lot of money and because the student thought it was neat and then either they didn't need it or it wasn't allowed, like a binder because it didn't fit into the desks. I hated to see parents spend money on stuff the students didn't need.

This is going to vary from school to school. Go to Google.com and do a search for your school. One the school's homepage, you should be able to find the supply lists for the upcoming year. They also provide those at all of the local stores so students are sure to get what they need. Ask the manager at Wal-Mart where they are located.

Go to your local store that sells school supplies, such as Wal-mart. They should have a list of those supplies which you will need, by grade level. They do that around here, not only by grade, by also by school

Don't worry about it you'll get a list from your teacher on the first day. If you run out and buy stuff now you might get the wrong thing.

Go to Walmart. The one in our town has a display up front with every school and grade in town, with a printed sheet of exactly what you will need.

yeah, everyone said your teacher will give you a list, but i'm going to tell you what i needed for my first day so you'll have an idea:a protractor,a mini stapler,a ruler, and ofcourse the obvious like pencils, crayons, paper, and then artsy stuff like markers and colored pencils.Don't forget erasers and a pecil sharpener.
