I am slightly confused what unconditional love is and if we are using the proper definition for this word “love”. GOD is all love.
I know that every God’s act will be justified by Christian. I am not asking if it’s good or bad or what’s the reason. I only interesting the in the definition of word “LOVE”
From bible alone we can see that God can be:
Jealous
Furious
Angry
Sorry (that he created all humans)
Feel sorrow in his heart.
Mad
Commands to kill children’s,
Sends deceases
Commands to sluter ppl
Genocide every living thing except 8 ppl
Is it really all love? Is that’s the definition of word “love” this days?
Please don’t explain me why he does that. I know his reason is absolutely beautiful. All I am asking is what’s the definition of word “LOVE”?

May be we just should use different word instead of "LOVE"? Otherwise its kind of tricky that we use love in everyday with different defenition of what it really is when it comes from god.
Its seems more like a marketing tool. If GOD's love is not the love we describe in our lifes than its not love its may be better but defenytialy different word.

Have you ever had children who have asked you why to every answer you have put forth? Love is giving something to someone else that they might or might not know how to handle, thus we are told to give/accept it humblely. If only humbleness were the ideal in our world which everyone strove for, then perhaps understanding 'LOVE' would be easy. Since it isn't and we still feel the need to echo what we believe guides all the good in the world, can you accept that love is giving with the expectation of getting something back? Unconditional love is giving irreguardless that nothing ever comes back from whom you have given to.

God's Love is something that would take an eternity to explain. His love includes Blessing, guidance, wisdom, rebuking, support, and all the things we have in our families here with us. He is there with us when we lose someone close to us, and he is there when you are tempted (for example) by a choice to keep our bodies clean and not take drugs or not.

God has control of everything, but everything that is happening today was fortold years ago by prophets and His Disciples.

I pray that you will seek Him for guidance and pick up a copy of the Holy Bible, His definition of Love is in there. Just as it has always been.

Unconditional love is doing something for someone so unselfless, even if that person wouldn't do the same for you in return. Such whereas you would get tourchered to death for someone that hated you with a passion, and you know they wouldn't do it for you but you'd do it because you cared and you wanted them to live if it were a choice. They have alot of good songs (especially in country music) that kind of lay it in your heart about what it means like "Unconditional" or "Half the dad he didn't have to be" by Brad Paisly.

1 Corinthians13:4-13 Love suffereth long, [and] is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not provoked, taketh not account of evil; rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Love never faileth: but whether [there be] prophecies, they shall be done away; whether [there be] tongues, they shall cease; whether [there be] knowledge, it shall be done away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; but when that which is perfect is come, that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child: now that I am become a man, I have put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know fully even as also I was fully known. But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love.

So says Paul ... that's his definition of Love, both regular love as well as agape Love.

If you will notice, each of the things Paul mentions about love is an action, not an emotion. What you've described is how God (as well as us on occasion) FEELS. Love is NOT a feeling, it is an action.

When Jesus told His disciples that the greatest thing we could do for Him is "I would that ye love one another" He didn't mean that we should feel warmly towards everyone else, He meant love in the terms of DOING, not FEELING.
