I have always been a PC user only used a mac once or twice but i really like the iMac. I am starting college in one month and i am doing AS Computing so would it be worth sticking to a PC. I am also an iPod user so i know that Apple are reliable.

as windows operating system still covers 95% of the worlds p.c,s i am tempted to go for p.c ,but macs are not bad,ecspecially if your looking for a secure workstation
however with windows "vista"coming out next year ,i would hang on until then and invest in a vista ready p.c or laptop
vista is going to be a miracle in computer operating systems,with everything you are going to need all in one place,reliablity,security,speed,and a lovely looking interface ,i have been using my friends 2nd p.c with the beta vista ,and its quite amazing and thats only a beta

MAc, there is not sensible reason to get a pc now that the intel Mac mini is so cheap.
£400 and you are away with a great machine, i'd pay the extra for the dvd writer if you are not confident to replace the rom drive it ships with.
MACS are so much better, I have been running my MAC mini for 6 months without a glitch, the PC which cost more crashes two or three time a week, even though I hardly use it.

There is a reason that 19 out of 20 people choose a pc....It's better. Your AS Computing will be better on a pc. A mac can do nothing. Get the pc. It's cheaper and faster.

Get a Mac!
