Does that mean all drinks, like if I ask the stewardess for a beer I cant have one? I think studies show that I am way less likely to get violent if I get a couple beers.

Well, unless they quit serving drinks on the planes, what's the problem? Especially if you're only out for a soda fix then it's free on the plane. I admit it's inconvenient, but would you rather be inconvenienced a little or blown up? I'd rather make sure I have a safe flight. And from what I understand you can still take shampoo and whatnot with you, you just have to include it in your check-in luggage. It just can't be in your carry-on.

1. Maybe it's a good thing. I've seen some pretty unruly, lest I say, obnoxiously drunk people on planes in the past.

2. Adapt to the changes & you won't be miserable about it. Who complains about 'no smoking' on planes anymore? At first, many were up in arms, but people adapted to the change. No problems.

3. There's an anonymous quote by a Las Vegas showgirl: "Mind over matter. If you don't mind, it won't matter."

The terrorists are getting exactly what they want.

Everyone is scared, and overreacting. Personal liberties are being stripped, governments are ignoring their own laws. And we can't even bring toothpaste when we travel.

Quality of life is being trampled on everywhere we turn, by our own governments, as a direct result of these attacks. And that's exactly what the terrorists want to achieve.

Yeah, that's the problem: We can't bring drinks on the plane anymore. Do you hear yourself when you say these things? Get drunk BEFORE you get on the plane!

If the British and US troops had not killed so many civilians in cold blood, you wouldn't have had so many volunteers who had their kids, wives, parents and loved ones killed in COLLATERAL DAMAGE ... SORRY !! ones ready to take their own lives along with some of us ... I am a US citizen and we are paying for the actions of our government just as much as these helpless people got punished for the actions of their ruling members. The more we use violence instead of reconciliation then expect vengeance from them and then vengeance from our side and so on so on ... violence brings hatred and with enough of that anyone can do anything ... I am not defending them but terrorism should be stopped from our side .. the US created, trained and financed elqaida for 2 decades to use it against others, and like raising a python in Ono's house with kids and expect to control it !!
