Define "true Christian."

I sincerely believe that they are both Christians, but Bush may just be a radical, or have different beliefs than Blair, or you and I. There are many different denominations of Protestant Christians, and each of these denominations have their own signature beliefs. For instance, Pentecostals believe in worshiping Christ through wild, energetic praise. On the other hand, Baptists are more traditional and believe in worshiping Him through calm, unemotional, and rather dull worship services. They also don't believe in drinking alcohol--for any reason or occasion. There are also Catholics, who hold entirely different beliefs than Protestants.

As you can see, one cannot define a "true Christian," so I cannot perfectly answer your question, but I can say that both Bush and Blair seem to be devout Christians--whatever their denomination.

Bush yes, Blair I dont know, as for being a perfect Christian, that is not possible. For all have sinned and is short of the Glory of God.
It is not about being perfect, Christ won perfection for us on the cross, it is about fighting the good fight, Paul wrote that he fought the Good fight , he finished the race he kept the faith, he didnt say he won it, it is not about winning the race or fight it is about showing up for it and finishing it.

I could really care less. I don't think religion or spirituality has anything to do with how someone should lead a country. This is not a theocracy, if you want that go to an Islamic country.

The terms true christian and professional politician can never coexist within a single person. They are almost at complete opposites. So to answer your question...No they are not.

Yeah, and that's why our country and world are so screwed up. Not because they're Christian, but because they're doing everything based on religion, and not everyone agrees with their religion.
