I got sun poisoning (red, itchy, bumpy burn) on my face at the beach this week. I have been putting lotion on it, because it keeps peeling, but some of it has started to peel off. It is really itchy and it hurts. What can i put on it to make it heal faster?

Aloe Vera After Sun Gel or "Ocean Potion" After Sun Lotion. You can find it at any CVS or Walgreens type pharmacy.

superficial layer of skin is burns under the effect of ultra violet rays no way to stop removing dead skin layer . If you still have itchy and red skin it means some inflammation is there use mild steroid at night(topical) and sunscreen In the morning more than 15 SPF , at 9a.m., 11a.m., and 1p.m. to protect new thin tender skin which is very sensitive to UV rays and will cause further darkening.

Aloe Vera--- as previously stated. I use a product from banana boat that also contains lidocaine and vitamins A and E. It works wonderful on my "burn easy" skin! Good luck

one thing you can do is find an aloe plant and cut a piece off and rub the sap on it, aloe sap stinks, but it works the best to soothe your skin, you could also use aloe vera gel, but the actual aloe plant works best
