Is it that you perspire, or is it that when you bathe, you get itchy?
If the later, maybe you are having a mild allergic reaction to your soap. Try another brand. Also, you're soap may be overdrying your skin- after bathing use lotion that contains a moisturizer, or cocoa butter.

It's probably a mild form of eczema. I have eczema and I felt the same after playing basketball, coming out of the shower, etc...

Here's some helpful tips:

Find an organic body-wash oil or use unscented soap like "Dove" when you're in the shower.

Use an unscented lotion like cetaphil right after you shower to "seal in" all the moisture. This works very well.

Pat-dry, don't rub yourself when you are drying off with your towel.

Don't itch, it only spreads the inflammation.

If it becomes really bad, try to either ice it down, or use an anti-itching cream to fight it.

Hope this helps, it helped me!

I had the same problem but I also presented with a little bit of a rash. My doctor told me I have eczema, he gave me some cream to use. He told me to not take too hot of a bath/shower and to use unscented soaps, etc.

Good luck

You need to put lotion or moisturizer on your skin within three minutes after bathing, or your skin starts to lose moisture. Also, hot baths cause your skin to dry out, which causes itching.
