I'm the leaseholder at my apartment. I moved out. I gave my roommmate 60 days to get out. He didn't, so when I left, I changed the locks (he has no proof that he ever lived there, so he can't come after me).
My question is, if he breaks into the apartment, he'll be trespassing, and can be charged with such, right?
I am gone, I've turned in the keys, and let them know that he was giving me trouble, but he left. I can't possibly be evicted at this point, can I? I would hate for that to show up on my credit, when it's his fault.

I was living there, and I told him that in 60 days, my lease would be coming due, and I wasn't renewing, so he would no longer be able to live here, unless he signs his own lease.
