I do not look drugy or anything. In fact I look and am very professsional although I do look younger than my age. What are some possible reasons I have been told no and how can I get a prescription? I try over the counter remedies such as Nytol, Sominex and melatonin, however, all of them make me not want to get out of bed the next day.

Go to a sleep disorders specialist. Read William C. Dement's book "The Promise of Sleep" first.
