this is starting to bother me... atheists claim to follow no religion but if you know what atheist is then you would see that it is also a religion. There are churches for atheist. Why claim something that says it has no religion but yet has a church (like the other religions) to preach their point. I know people who go to these "churches" and it just seems crazy to me. So my question is... when you can't find the answers you are looking for why be so quick to claim something that is rumored to be "non-religious"? Also, I see a lot of people on here say they are atheist but yet believe in evolution. Do they not understand that that would make them an evolutionist? BTW- I'm an evolutionist.

Weird, churches for athiests! My personal definition for atheist is someone who doesn't believe in a god. I don't like to use the word "believe" when talking about science, as science is not based on faith, but on facts and observations.

I'm not an atheist, but I know they believe in things-- they believe in the earth, the sky, ribbon, and technology (and more things.) They just don't believe in a diety. And why are those who think they've found "the way" so quick to join a religion? People who are atheists feel that atheism is right for them; People who are religious find the religion that suits them and believe in that.

There are religious people who believe in evolution, there are non-religious people who believe in evolution. Why does it bother you so much who believes in evolution?

People have meeting places to discusses philosophies.
Evolutionism is an idea on a specific topic, and has nothing at all to do with being an atheist.
That's like saying you don't have a nose because you have ears.

Yep, athiests are dogmatic, which means they follow a religion, and are therefore hypocrites.
