Everyone battles evil everyday. Yes it does exist. The more good you try to do, and the closer you come to God, the more evil you will have to face. Trust me I know this from personal experience.
Satan is nothing but evil, but he disguises it as something good or just something you really want, and you have to battle that. If you win that battle...be looking forward to something that much stronger the next time. It's a life long battle, but the rewards in the end are worth every battle and every scar you get!!

Conceptually and perceptually evil exists in the sense that people make choices impacting others negatively which is generally construd as an evil action. Additionally, a lack of action can be considered as being evil...ex: A person passing an accident where there's no help on scene without stopping or doing anything to help...that might/may be considered to be evil despite it being inaction. PEACE!

Mankind by nature is a sinner. Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: The only way to take care of evil and sin is to replace the sin nature with the Holy Spirit. The Lord Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world. Salvation is to believe and trust in that. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Evil is a stand-alone force in its own right. Everyone has the potential for good AND evil inside of them because the world cannot exist without balance. If you want good, you have to accept the existence of evil.
The best description of evil I have ever heard came from a Mercedes Lackey book. One of her characters described evil as any force that consciously destroys beauty just because it is there to be destroyed.

I believe that evil exists and it is personified in Satan the Devil.
I do not believe he was created that way, I believe what the Bible says, which is that he allowed his own wrong desires to manifest themselves. He desired the worship of humans and caused a rebellion in Eden to get that worship for himself.
Since that time, he has done nothing but cause problems for humans. The Bible calls him the ruler of this world, which would explain all of the horrendous crimes we see committed.

Satan is a real person who stands in direct opposition to the truth and who would like for all of us to agree with him so we could all share in his fate (destruction). Anything which goes against God or misleads people away from God is "evil" and that includes Satan and all his demons plus any human conduct which is in harmony with them. I do not believe that any humans are inherintly evil but some have hardened their hearts to the point that it is nearly impossible to reach them.

Evil exists in conjunction with good. One cannot exist without the other.

of course evil exist, if good does well the opposite too. And the fact that we cant see God does not mean that he does not exist.

I think that evil is brought upon someone in a tough situation where their weak will power fails them.

Evil is within you. Read the ten commandments and then examine you intentions and actions.
"And I have the keys of hell and death, signifies that He alone can save. By "keys" is signified the power of opening and shutting; here the power of opening hell, that man may be brought forth, and of shutting, lest, when he is brought forth, he should enter again. For man is born in evils of all kinds, thus in hell, for evils are hell; he is brought out of it by the Lord, to whom belongs the power of opening it. That by "having the keys of hell and death," is not meant the power of casting into hell, but the power of saving, is because it immediately follows after these words:
Behold, I am alive for ages of ages;
by which is signified that He alone is eternal life (n. 60); and the Lord never casts anyone into hell, but man casts himself. By "keys" is signified the power of opening and shutting, in Revelation also (3:7; 9:1; 20:1; also in Isa. 22:21, 22; in Matt. 16:19; and in Luke 11:52). The power of the Lord is not only over heaven, but also over hell; for hell is kept in order and connection by oppositions against heaven; for which reason, He who rules the one must necessarily rule the other; otherwise man could not be saved; to be saved is to be brought out of hell" (Apocalypse Revealed n. 62).
