Because religion imposes certain codes of conduct that they do not wish to adhere to.

Young People believe that they have to be old to worship the Lord in a church setting; I even thought that myself until I really got down and prayed and saw that no man knows the time nor hour of our deaths so we should worship the Lord at all time at any age; however, some might argue the fact that it isn’t something that they believe they should do since they aren’t living the life God would like them to live, meaning no sex before marriage, no hate in their hearts Etc.

Needless to say we all need to worship the lord weather it is in a church setting or not . Younger folks seem to think that the old school-ers in church look down on them leading them to feel like an outcast so they just don’t go. young adults feel like an outcast so they just don’t go.

I'm a church goer, but only because I believe I have to. Alot of times it's like pulling teeth to go. I have friends that don't go to church and some of the most common reasons that I've heard is that church people reject them or preach down to them. I've also heard that church is too much of human ritual, so much so that God has no room in it any more.

I understand what you mean but that question isn't always true because I am 18 and I LOVE going to church and I KNOW I will still be going to church when I am at that age. But to answer you question....because (and this is my opinion) it is easier for the devil to convince a younger person into sinning than an older person. Older people have been around longer and have seen his miracles. Younger people haven't really been exposed to him like older people have. The devil has their mind filled with everything else and they aren't putting their entire trust in God.

That isn't the case. There are a lot of people in their 20's who go to church. You can't group people who go to church and who don't into categories like that. You will 99.99999999999999999% be wrong.
You should ask yourself, "Why doesn't this person, who happens to be in their 20's not go to church?" Or something like that.

Its not that i don't like going to church. I just have other stuff to do or I don't wake up early enough. I know i need to go back to church. I want to go to a really uplifting church not one that makes me want to fall asleep.

Because they don't know the truth, the way and life.Jesus is the answer. But the young people only know about religion and religion is not the answer.Christ said follow me.He did not say follow the religious leaders infact He was against the religious leaders for misleading the people with their doctrines and traditions. So you have to follow only Jesus who came for all sinners,me and you.The jews, moslems, pagans for everyone so we could return to God.

Because the young people of today have sense and realize that the bible is a load of nonsense. Most wars in this world are to do with religion , making it a bad thing.

Ok not that this is me at all but this is what i understand:
They say that they'll have fun now and worry about "religion" later. But that is just stupid and they never really think What if I die tomorrow?
And the second question... probably because they looked at it as a being forced to go then really actually wanting to go.

That is when they are finding their "niche",, they are finding the places where they fit. Hopefully they will find a Bible-based church to join and be comfortable.
