My neighbor is legally declared mental. She has been on a rampage at our building. SHe has called children and familes on my family giving false accusations. I know she called bc she threaten me when we got into an arguement. SHe has been exchanging her meds with another disabled woman. So she is basically taking meds without doctor approval. She drink all day. She goes to the V.A. I feel worried that she could have a bad reaction to the pills she is taking, flip out and maybe kill us or someone else. There has to be something i can do.

Try calling the nearest Veteran's Administration hospital and ask for the Patient Representative or their Women's Clinic. Hopefully you can get this woman some help and also prevent something really bad from happening. If nothing else contact your local authorities and at least let them know you have concerns.

I have reported the misuse of prescribed medications before to the doctor of the person who was being prescribed the meds. Someone did almost die when this girl was sold her RX meds. to them and they accidentally overdosed. Unfortunately unless they are actually caught in the act or in possession of RX that aren't theirs there is not alot that can be done. The police don't usually put alot of effort into these sort of things. Good luck I hope everyone stays safe.

You just described a good percentage of the people who go to VA hospitals, but aren't on an inpatient basis there.

Unfortunately, there's some mental midgets who intentionally act like loons for the sole purpose of getting both military disability and social security disability. Some of them probably act a bit loonier than they otherwise would, because they test your blood levels and if you aren't taking your meds, they can take you off of disability, at least I know they can take you off the military disability.

I'm sure they know not only that she drinks, but that she does so excessively, as well as they are most likely aware of every med she is and is not taking.

I think your just trying to get back at her for calling family services. Turn the other cheek, live & let live.

It sounds to me like you are more interested in revenge for her calling dhs on your family. Doctors are aware of patients that abuse alcohol. She may not drink the day of visiting the doctor, but they know.
