The possibilities exist. The writing of letters have caused many marriages during the world wars and after. peoples words give you a peek at their soul.

The Internet is no different. What matters is how you set the stage. If sex is discussed too soon, it sets the stage for losers and vulgarity.

A jerk doesn't want to give the time for a relationship to evolve.

I am not that familiar with Internet sites, but there are guys out there that are looking for a true relationship , but will settle for the other if presented that way.

You have to search for another site.

Example, if a guy meets a girl in church and the same guy meets the same in a bar, He would act differently.

computer dating with a long list of compatible likes and dislikes may be a better alternative.

Talk to a guy long enough , the real guy will emerge
Good luck and good fishing

hi there!
i think that in any site you would not find a true person not unless you meet him in person because finding an online love is never be the same on the one you love beside you. Sweet words come from the screen is just a word, you would never know if there is a true feeling beyond that sweet words. Finding your soul mate is not finding it like a lost dog, it would come naturally in your life that you would never notice. Sometime your soul mate is your childhood friend or your officemate or sometimes your neighbor that you really trusted. Honestly i've been there and sometimes there is no true basis of feelings in finding an online companionship. Hope that would help you.... God bless! =)

Hey don't give up yet. I like yourself was on-line chatting with people and found many that were full of beans and/or looking to meet their own agenda somehow. Well I did hook up chatting with this lady and we seemed to have a lot in common and thought each other sounded alright. After a while she agreed to give me her phone number and real name and we started conversing on phone. Next thing we met and I am proud to announce that was over 2.5 years ago and that we are now set to be married next May 20. So yes it is possible to find someone who will become your soul mate and that you'll fall in love with on line. We met on Findsomeone.com which at the time was free but I think that they charge now. Best of luck in your search and stay positive, perhaps you'll be able to share a story with a happy ending someday in the near future also.

I did! It took me a year and a half of dealing with lying, cheating and just to have sex guys....but, I finally found my soul mate. It was so worth the torment. I learned a lot. If you try not to get too discouraged and treat it as a fun, entertaining method of doing something rather than sitting on your butt waiting for Mr right to come knocking on your door, you can deal with it better. I should write a book on the do's and don'ts for on line dating ,cause I have some great info. I learned the hard way. Email me if you want more info. We met on American Singles.

Are you sure that it's the internet? Have you always seemed to find losers and users offline too?

If you keep seeming to attract the same type of people, is it possible that the problem is not outside, but inside?

There's no point to blaming the medium if you are not willing to go through painful personal growth. If this has struck any cord with you, please message me and we'll talk further.

If it hasn't then maybe I'm just talking out my @ss...

I've meet others online that have been just what they advertised. But they are few and far between.
I have found what I wanted, and I wish you the best of luck, just be careful, talk, learn, and be safe about first meetings.
I have found using these prepaid phones makes people feel safe when first talking live. That way neither gives out addressable TN's.

Not here! :) I don't know, I'd find a dating site that was more about one kind of people... like if you are a single mom, there are single parent dating sites... or if you are a pet lover, there is probably a dating site for that kind of thing. I would also stay away from the really popular ones... except for eHarmony, I've heard good things about that one.

I honestly don't know. None of the sites I've used seemed to help at all.

Might have some better luck looking elsewhere, like, outside.
