Being a brewer I've become a bit of a "beer snob" in that I like a bear that has some body, a good hops (like cascade hops) and that's refreshing (i.e. doesn't leave your tongue feeling coated). In a lighter body beer I prefer corona with lime. For a heavy beer - scottish ale.

If beer was supposed to have a lime flavor it, it would've been added at the brewery. A good beer should have a good balance between the malt and the hops. Too much of one or the other is the sign of a bad beer. The same goes with too much adjuncts (cheap fermentables like corn or rice). This results in a beer with little flavor and body....
much like the mass-produced beers that too many beer-ignorant people here sing praise about.

You want to make a good beer taste good do this>>>>Take a cooler and put crushed ice not ice cubes. Pour water 1/4 in it and pour a 1/2 box of rock salt in the cooler and stir it up and place your beer in it. In about 30 minutes, grab one and you will have the coldest beer in town and wen you drink it you will know why Beer is better cold than warm or luke cold. Rock salt will freeze your beer just before freezing point, which makes it the coldest Beer in town and what a cold Beer too. Drink it too fast you freeze your brain.

Well, just on its own, Rickard's Red is the best beer by far. It's smooth and not bitter at all. To make any beer better, make it into cola-weitsen. Just add a very small amount of cola to the beer and it goes down easier and sweetens it up just a little. First tried it in Germany, it's delicious!

The purpose of the lime is not for taste. I think the tradition started in Mexico, the lime was twisted around the bottle top to kill of any bacteria. I don't think we need it now, but it adds a little something to your cervesa!

The best hops and pristine water contribute to a good beer. Cold? Remember it's usually drunk warm in the UK. I suspect that that exposes it's flaws to a greater degree.
Best domestic beer: Sam Adams.
My preference, internationally,: Heineken & Urquell (Czech)

You said it all. I love the beer to be super cold. I think that's about it. Unless if I am drinking like Corona or Tecate then I like it with lime and salt. But I usually like to drink Budweiser.

It depends on what you look for in beer. Everyone has a different taste, and beer is like wine. It has many different varieties. I like wheat beers like weis, and hefeweis.

The ingredients are very important...if you want to try some really smooth beer....try a wheat beer. Most are brewed with malt.
