The only way to get rid of sin is to die to it by repenting and being baptized for the forgiveness of sins so you may receive the holy spirit, which will help you to live in a more sinless life. Sin will always be out there but God will not let sin be more than you can handle.

Yes there is. The Lord Jesus Christ died for your sins He was buried and took your sins away and He rose again the third day for your justification. If you believe and trust in that then your sins are paid for. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Dear HolyGhost: "A mind that is stretched to a new idea never returns to its original dimension." by Oliver Wendell Holmes.
Sin is a word that automatically implies there is "Guilt" attached. This is so - even when we do not "feel" it. It is in our subconscious mind. "Sin" = "Guilt."
Sin - if repeated over and over in your behaviors is due to getting a feeling of Power from the Sin. That is why we are attracted to Sin. It can make us feel Powerful or, at the least, more em-powered than we felt before.
Thus, the CAUSE of Sin cannot be stopped by forcing behavior to change. The Cause of Sin has to be handled in the thinking process of the thinker. In his mind. How he thinks. . ..
Let's change the word Sin to Error. Sin requires forgiveness. Error does not. For an Error can be easily changed and CORRECTED! This is not meant to sound simplistic! Error is wrong thinking. Perceiving wrongly and therefore taking wrong action. It comes from a mind that seeks power because it feels weak or without influence. When you think of it as Sin - you feel guilty. If you think of it as Error in judgment you can move to Correct it or yourself.
You do not need forgiveness when you are in error. You need to Correct!
Do you say, "What if I killed someone? How do I correct that?"
The answer is even murder is correct-able in your mind and thinking which CAUSED the action to begin with! The death of a person is not final. We are created in the Likeness of our Creator/Father. He is Eternal. We have Eternal Life also, as His Creation or Children, Who share His Life in Eternity with Him. Therefore, the belief in "death" is an error - in itself! No one can be killed or lost. The whole point of the Resurrection and the Raising of Lazarus is to prove this point! Jesus demonstrated to us the Truth. To humans, "death" is an appearance. But, truly, Death means they are "just out of sight."
It is the "job" of Jesus and the Holy Spirit to correct Error. In this light, neither your Creator, nor They, see you as sinful or guilty.
But correction is taken very seriously by Them. Everything depends upon your ability to be corrected in how you think.
I hope this helps .

The Qur'an gives the prescription: "If anyone does evil or wrongs his own soul, but afterwards seeks Allah's forgiveness, he will find Allah is -Forgiving, Most Merciful."(al-Nisa; 4:110). Islam teaches repentance, stopping evil ways, feeling sorry for for what one has done, and determining to follow the path of Allah as much as humanly possible. . The Qur'an puts it clearly: "But My Mercy extends to all things."(al-A'raf; 7:156
Adam "atoned" for his sin by saying "My Lord I have sinned and if you do not forgive me and have mercy upon me then I shall indeed have lost." So God forgave him. Similarly, all human beings have the door to forgiveness left open to them by God
