It has a tart taste -not quite as sour as lemon but it balances out other sweet ingredients allowing for a superb favour. I wouldn't use it on it's own or with non-sweet ingredients as it would be too tart.

It's a large plant that looks like oversized celery with big leaves. They come to about 3-4 feet tall, and spread easily. It tastes sort of sour, and for some people it takes a little bit if time to get used to, because of the taste. Usually the recipies are specifically for rhubarb, because it doesn't combine very well. I have some growing in my backyard, in fact, and I use it all the time to make rhubarb crunch and rhubarb pie. If I were at home, I'd get you the recipe.

Rhubarb is technically a vegetable although it is normally eaten like a fruit. Rhubarb can be used in many different ways in cooking such as breads, sauces, chutney etc.. however it is usually used in desserts. Rhubarb is very tart so it is complimented nicely with berries and sugar

It's a plant - looks kind of like a reddish stalk of celery with large dark green leaves.

The stalks are the parts you use for cooking - the leaves are somewhat toxic.

The taste is somewhat like strawberries, so you can use cooked rhubarb in pies.

Rhubarb is a vegetable (or fruit not sure) that grows in bunches and kind of looks like celery only darker with reddish tint. It's very sour but tasty when sweetened. Can be used in cobblers and pies.

Mainly you'll see it as Rhubarb Pie. It's sweet and tangy, similar to a cranberry. But it really is great.

It is a root plant with long reddish stems and big green leaves. Most often it is used in Strawberry Ruhbarb pie. It is very very bitter and thus needs a great deal of sugar to counter act that. It is very good, however be careful not to eat the leaves as they are poisonous and could be fatal.
