I would suggest go with either personality or humor.

For humor- Nightmare. (When asked say he had a bad one and it scared him so bad he turned a white as a ghost.- or he say he saw a Ghost and it scared him.)

Bianco- means white in Italian
Neve- means snow in Italian

Eupe- means white in Swahili
Sneeu- means Snow in Swahili

Shiroi- or Shiro - white in Japanese
Yuki- or Suno- or Tenks- or Rikka- all mean different types of Snow in Japanese.

OR- personality. Just pick a name that matches his personality.

Hope this helps.
