I don't think it's better, but it's good or equal. I like to have it on occasion, but it's not like I would want it more than like. . .once a week.

Chinese food in America is NOTHING like real Chinese food. We have much much better food in China. I can't even believe that people would compare the two since they are so different. By the way, Chinese food here sucks. I can't find anything that would taste worst. American food in limits are okay. Most of it is too fattening.

What do you mean by "usual American food?" If you are talking about hot dogs and Americanized pizza, then, yes. One of the things I love about being in California is that I can easily get Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Italian, Greek, Japanese, Thai, Russian, Mediterranean, German, or whatever cuisine suits my fancy for that day. I'm sure some of the places have "Americanized" their menus a bit, but its fun to try different foods depending on my mood.

It really depends on the restaurant and who's cooking it. I've had some truly delicious Chinese food, and some that I only ate a bite or two of, and threw it out because it was questionable...
As a rule, I generally prefer "American" food more. Chinese food has a tendency to be a bit greasy (depending on what you order) and doesn't "stick to your ribs".

It's a tough call on that one; since there is a wide variety of both. I like to eat Chinese food everynow in then but I wouldn't eat it as often as I would eat American food. It just doesn't seem like the right kind of diet.

Yes to Chinese Chinese food and not American Chinese fast food. I'm talking about no preservatives, no hydrogenated oil, no MSG and no pesticides and REAL rice not processed.

I believe the Chinese love food and watching people enjoy it. I believe that attitude in cooking makes a difference in the way it turns out and tastes.

I love eating chinese food. But I love Iots of types of food. I think that varity is important. Sometimes I want American, sometimes Chinese, there isn't one that is always the best choice.
