It's no more of a deception than any other phase of dating is. ;)

That is, it's only deceptive if that's the way you approach it. Otherwise, it's just another phase along the path of getting to know someone, as you explore sexual compatability vs long-term relationship potential. A friend with benefits is someone who you've deemed to be sexually compatible, but have not yet made a decision about in terms of whether you're comfortable taking the relationship to a more serious level.
The only danger comes when a mismatch between interests develops. If one partner decides they'd really like to get more serious about the person, and the other is happy with the relationship as it stands, then the tough decision time comes into play; do you break off the relationship, and force it back to "friends with no benefits" if the other person isn't willing/interested to take it more seriously. (In general, my feeling is the answer is almost always "yes"--FWB *only* works when both people are happy and comfortable with the relationship being in that grey area. Once one side or the other isn't comfortable with it, the benefits need to stop while the definition of the friendship/relationship gets re-established at the right balance point.

The only room for deception is if one side or the other isn't honest about how they view the relationship--and that's true of any relationship, no matter what stage it's at.

the two. Say a woman who has been in an prolonged relationship and the actual area wasnt good might desire a actual element and not leap into yet another severe element yet. Or she is attracted and likes the guy yet would not experience he's boyfriend or marriage textile. while they have the advantages however i ask your self whether her emotions substitute. Can a woman try this without having linked? some might deep down atleast prefer him to secretly prefer her as his gf. So i think of it would desire to circulate the two techniques. I agree it relies upon on the place she is in her life

It's not comitted, it's agreed upon by two consenting adults who are using each other and don't think much of themself or other people/relationships. It's the milk without the cow.

FWB is a mutually agreed upon situation...where both of us get laid but each of us as well gets to date other people. Kind of a user friendly version of safe sex...while getting to date others w/o that worry

there is no 'protection' except for hopefully condoms. there is no committment other than when both agree that they want to have sex together. friends with benefits is only for having sex, not anything else.
