Sikhism is not in the business of making prophecies, we leave this up to the charlatans, the conjurers, the tricksters, the Nosrtodamus type fraudsters. Sikhism is not impressed with prophecies and miracles to win over new converts.

The Guru's insisted that the message should speak for itself. Although Sikh history is filled with amazing miracles, they were not done for show purposes or to impress. Guru Granth Sahib Ji is not a book of prophecies, it is a scripture that leads one to the realisation of God and inspires love and tolerance.

I applaud you for making a consideration in the future path you're about to take. Some of the answers I have read here are good, but I personally believe that your current religion is hijacked by radicals that threaten to undermine what your faith really means.

I am born and raised a baptist, and baptised as one. But God has a way of moving you to the path you need to be at. I currently visit with non-denominational churches that have preached the same message the secular churches preach, but with more movement with the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and The Life. He gave His life for our sins that preceded us, back to the days of Adam and Eve. When we ask God to forgive us of our sins, we also accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour. When those two choices are made in our lives, then the Holy Spirit indwells within us as a FREE Gift from God Almighty.

In the sources are some scriptures, which there are bibles that are online and available anytime. Try looking them up and you will see that God gave a precious gift to us, because He seeks us to be closer to Him.

The New International Version is written in Today's language, so it might be the version that is readily available to you. I had a hard time with the King James Version because I would get tongue Tied with the "thee's and Thou's" that are prevalent in the KJV.

And when you make the decision to accept God into your life and claim Jesus as your personal saviour, you can come up with the words to say straight from your heart.

I pray that I have helped you in the road somehow. I pray you will make the choice that is best for you because God gave us the Free Will to choose what is best for our lives.

The road from Islam to Christianity is not easy, but the Gift God Gave is well worth it.

God Bless you!

I answered your last question, I think.

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints (aka Mormon, LDS)
I know some Sikhs, they are good people. We believe in many of the same things. The main difference between my Sikh friends and myself is that I believe in Jesus Christ and they don't. However, if you are already Muslim, I can see where it would be hard for you to go from that to a Christian based religion.
I can only advise you to make an informed and prayerful choice. To live how you want to live and take the time to find the religion that fits what you believe. That's what I did, and I've found so much peace and happiness by doing so.

Let me speak from the Christian perspective.

You are seeking God, and He is seeking you.

Christianity recognizes that mankind was created perfect, in the image of God, but when man sinned, we all fell away. Everyone born since has been born with a sinful nature that we struggle to overcome. But, we cannot overcome it by ourselves.

Because Jesus, the Son of God and one of the three persons of the Trinune God, took our punishment upon himself, we have been redeemed -- purchased back -- and thus have salvation through Him.

The Bible instructs people to do some of the same things as you note above, and that is how Christians are known, or identified. But we are saved through faith, not works. (If we could be saved by doing good works, then we could save ourselves. And how many good works can make up for a single sin?) Forgiveness from sin is ours, freely granted by God.

Read the Bible, and see if you find Christianity different from all other religions. Pray to know his will, be open and listen, and he will reveal himself to you.

Someday, may we meet in heaven.

I've been thinking of Sikhism as well, and that obviously means I'm not against it (lol). I think you should do whatever seems right to you, and convert to whatever religion makes sense to you. I'm agnostic, currently, and I'm researching religion so that when I do make a choice, I can make an educated one. Good luck!

Don't convert from one religion to another. Put your trust in what the Lord Jesus Christ did for you on the cross. He died for you sins He was buried and took your sins away and He rose again the third day for your justification. Religion is when you try to please God by your good works. Grace is when God had done something for you. He did it all for you. Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Sikhs are good people. For the most part. They get confused with Muslims, but that should not be a problem for you.

ONE Faith, Many Religions

There are many religions (as an example - Gal.1:13 below, the Jews’ religion), but one faith (Eph.4:5 below).

Eph.4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

When we are baptized into Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit we BECOME a “new creature” (2 Cor.5:17, Gal.6:15 below). We become, individually, as well as collectively, the living body of Christ (Col.1:24 below). We become the church of God (1 Cor.10:32 below, 1 Cor.1:2, 1 Cor.15:9, Gal.1:13), the one faith (Eph.4:5 above).

2 Cor.5:17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he IS a new creature (Gal.6:15 below): old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Gal.6:15For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature (2 Cor.5:17 above).

Col.1:24Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for His body's sake, which IS the church (1 Cor.10:32, Gal. I:13, 1 Cor.1:2).

1 Cor.10:32Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God (Eph.2:16 below).

Eph.2:16 And that he might reconcile BOTH (Jews and Gentiles - 1 Cor.10:32 above) unto God in one body (the church of God - 1 Cor.10:32 above) by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Gal.1:13For ye have heard of my (Paul's) conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God (1 Cor.10:32 above), and wasted it.
