It's also his birthday and I want to write him a poem letting him know how much I love him!! And how much I apreciate how much he has done for me. So If anyone out there could help me write him a poem. Please help me!! I want him to have something from me that he can have forever. I just need some help!! Thanks

Since you've been with your StepDad since you were little it's okay I would say to call him "Dad" and I'm sure he would really love it if you would. You did call him your father when you said he was in the hospital. That said, try this out:

Through the years your love has embraced me

You been my strength and so inspiring

You've made me laugh when I'd cry

You've kissed all my ouchies goodbye

I don't say this enough you see

But you do mean the world to me

Your my Father, my Dad, my Friend

My love for you will never end

Well, I'm very good with poetry so here we go.....I hope you like it.

How can I sing my gratitude?
Explain my silent sea;
approximate in words the gift
that you have been to me?

Thank you dad so much
for all the love you've bestowed,
I shall always cherish and remember
All the care you have showed.

You have honestly been
the greatest dad for me,
you have treated me like royalty
and that is my final decree.

In my mind you are admired,
in my heart you are well-respected
you had come into my life,
unbelievably unexpected.

I think of you all day,
you are my dream come true
and every thought of good parenting,
I owe them all to you.

I am not a poet, however...Make a list of everything you appreciate about him, then come up with other ways to say them that rhyme( a thesaurus will help)
