Our Doberman, Rose, will be 4 months old in a few days. Up until 2 weeks ago, she had never had a #2 accident on the floor inside. Now, all of a sudden, we're finding packages around the house. Somehow, we never catch her doing it! We are taking lots and lots of time to see that she goes outside and has plenty of time to do her business. Last night, I took her out. She made a sizeable deposit, then came in and 20 minutes later, made another one in my bedroom. It's not loose at all so it's not like she can't wait. Why is she doing this??????????????????

U think that's bad! My dog eats her own doo-doo, which is not healthy @ all.

My dog started doing the same thing and I found out that he was sneaking food right out of the dog food bag! I had to put it in a dog food bin so he couldn't help himself! Look for a food source in your house..I don't know for sure but that sounds like a lot of pooping for a dog! They usually only go two or three times at the most a day. If not you will have to keep a constant not out of your sight for a while to determine the cause and to get your pup outside in time. If it continues maybe a call or trip to your vet. Good luck!

she is still a baby. She may understand the concept, but since you haven't caught her in the act, and she hasn't been scolded, she doesn't realize there is a consequence to her actions. Also, you are giving her too much free roaming room. She should not have access to the entire house. She can mentally make sleeping space, play space and now potty space out of the areas. So, keep her to just the kennel or kitchen area until she doesn't have accidents in that space, then slowly enlarge the space until she understands that inside is all living space and not potty space.

you might want to have her checked out by a vet. this is a common symptom of illness in alot of animals.

Have there been any changes that could have upset her? or a change in food?
