Does it have a lot of meanings? I'm not from the US that's why I don't know!

Corky is actually derived from the cork on a wine bottle that pops out with a sound.

Its used for a person who is very active and happier and always very lively...

Corky was the name of a character in "The Wonder Years" a popular television show drama during the 1980s. Corky had down syndrome. Someone can use Corky as an insult for lack of mental capacity.

Corky could also describe something that's made out of cork -- the material used to seal wine bottles. Cork comes from the cork tree.
