some prescription medications cause this side effect especially augmentin. there really is no prevention. take all of your medication and if it becomes a real problem, call your doctor or pharmacist for a suggestion.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist. It may be a side effect of the medicine. Read the literature and see. It might be that nothing can be done except to switch you to a different med.
