how many of you dated someone who has kids and did it work out well? i'm just starting dating again but i have three kids is it hopeless?

No don't give up. You'll find a guy out there that loves you so much he can't help but love the kids too. My best friends cousin is getting married to a woman with a 10 yr. old in a couple of weeks.

I lost my wife about 5 yrs ago -- and when I started dating again I always had a couple of my grand kids at my house!! If anyone I was interested in could not accept the fact I had grand kids (my kids (3) are grown and married) around allot -- then I felt they were not for me anyway!! Ask yourself WOULD YOU date someone that has kids?? When you realize that you would -- then you'll realize that men (myself I married a woman w/2 boys), will date you whether or not you have kids and those that will not -- YOU DO NOT WANT ANYWAY!!! SO MY ANSWER IS YES!!!So don't feel hopeless GO OUT THERE AND STRUT YOUR STUFF GIRL!!

never hopeless i have a son and if you want to get the kids together and live in maine look me up but never think its hopeless just make sure you pick someone that respects your kids and you the same dont put them in an awkward position with a creepy guy who you are madly into

I only date woman with kids! Its not hopeless.... Yes, three kids are a lot, but most men don't care to much unless you start pushing your kids on them. Such as buying dinner for all, movies, etc.... If you don't push, he will do all that in time, if he likes you, he will except your kids too. Good Luck!

We have been together for 10 years and married for 8. I have 3 children he has 2 so we have 5 wonderful kids together. Yes it can work out.

its not hopeless, my stepdad is a better father than my bioligical dad. I have dated guys with kids...and you learn to love the kids too, some of them anyway, but then again the ones you dont like are usually the parents fault.

there's nothing in this world which is hopeless, if you just gave your kids the time that they deserve beside the guy that you're dating everything will be ok, i mean you have to organize your hours perfectly and give everyone in your life some time.

i have and no it's not hopeless the guy that i'm talking to now loves kids. And many times you run arcoss men who loves kids but don't have any so just wait he'll come around.Don't give up

The thing you have to look for is, a guy who wants kids, not just a guy who likes kids, but actually WANTS kids. Good luck. Oh, but no, I haven't dated anyone with kids.
