christian says that they all will enter the heaven if they believe in Jesus as the savior. my question is....
where is the justice for those who do good and bad deeds?? if this is the truth, that means, I can do any sins as much as I want and when death is coming to me, I will say I believe in JEsus??
Wow,.....How poor for those who are good people :) they have to work very hard and hold their desires from sins. :)

It just a thought :)

You are totally right. I think the exact same thing alot about this hypocritical religion. Religion is evil. You know that piece of crap Jerry Falwell? His father was a completely evil person, even a murderer (his own brother), but Jerry said that on his deathbed he accepted Jesus and now he KNOWS he's in heaven! WOW!
And what about little babies who die in parts of some remote counrty in the middle of nowhere who don't know anything about a 'saviour?' Are they going to hell, too?
It's all bull.

Well, it is not quite as easy as saying you believe in Jesus. There are the 10 commandments also that come into play. No one gets a free ride. If you ask God or Jesus for forgiveness, your sins will be forgiven. Purgatory is where you wait and pay for the sins you have committed on earth. What I don't understand is why don't you like Jesus? Even if you don't believe Jesus is the son of God or if you are an atheist, Jesus preached Love one another; he cured the sick; fed the poor. He died on a cross when he did absolutely nothing wrong. How can you find fault with that? Why all the hostility. He forgave the thief next to him. Jesus threw the money lenders out of the church. He was courageous, spread love and he was crucified for his beliefs. I think there will be a place for you in heaven because of the good deeds that you do here on earth. I have atheist friends and they truly live by the 10 commandments and I can't imagine them not being allowed into heaven. They became atheists because God disappointed them at a young age, however they were influenced by their religious upbringings. The people that they are would by their actions be followers of Jesus. Jesus still had an influence on them. Some people speak of religion but by their actions would not be following Jesus's teachings. Jesus died on the cross so we all could enter heaven and that certainly includes you. However, your hostility towards Christians is unhealthy. As Jesus said, "He without sin throw the first stone." Maybe, we could learn to respect each other as human beings instead of begrudging Christians their beliefs. Just a thought!

This guy named Job had the same question you do about justice... in fact, he questioned it a lot.

Christians are very aware that their sins bring them consequences. "for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." However, whether or not YOU (or anyone else for that matter) agree with the justice God serves them is your own opinion. God deals with everyone in His own way and His own time. He doesn't let things slide. "He does not let the guilty go unpunished." But at the same time, He is a very merciful God. "God is love," and, "God loved the world so much He gave His one and only son..."

As for the other part of your thought, no, you don't just believe. That kind of belief is fire insurance, and doesn't work. That is actually kinda scary if you think you will be able to know when you're gonna die, thereby having "enough time" to say you believe in Jesus. If a person really truly believes, then God alone knows it, and He works within that person (again, in his own time and way) to work out their sins. He doesn't ask we be perfect, just honest. Someone who says "I believe" with their mouth and not their heart will not see Heaven. God is smart enough to know if someone is trying to pull one over on him or if they are the real deal. If a person believes, their life naturally changes, and it's visible. Plain and simple.

It's interesting that some people believe it's "hard work" to get to heaven. It's not, really. Just trust (in Jesus alone and what He did to get you to heaven) and obey (do what He tells you). A believer no longer has the desires for things that could keep them from heaven. That's God's part. They may have a hard time at first giving them up if they were addicted to them, but God's things are better, and they know that and have seen that.

Lastly, a person can "work hard" to get into heaven all they want and try to be a "good person" (by whose standards?) and not make it. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith; it is a gift of God and not by works, so that no one can boast."

Your ride to heaven is between you and God. It's your choice to get in the car or not, and then to accept his direction when he gives it. Your choices determine your detsination. Good luck to you.

Keep thinking...

I think you've hit on one of the central problems with fundamentalist Protestantism -- the idea that one is assured of Heaven simply by the one-time act of accepting Christ.

We Catholics see things differently -- accepting Christ is a very important and necessary start, but it's not enough.

The Bible tells us that in addition to accepting Christ at some point in our lives, we also must continue in His grace (Rom 11:22). A failure to continue in His grace means we will be "cut off" (Rom 11:22).

This means that we cannot sin as much as we want and yet still depend on our previous one-time acceptance of Christ as our Savior.

Rom 11:22 (and other Bible verses) clearly tell us that it is NOT that easy.

So, there are plenty of Christians -- including us Catholics -- who do not see salvation as "just believe in Christ and all will be well, even if you sin and sin and sin again."

Martin Luther said that a Christian could still go to Heaven, as long as he believes, even if he commits murder several times a day.

No offense to any Lutherans out there, but Martin Luther was off his rocker.

Good deeds do get a reward.
If one is a TRUE Christian they will not WANT TO SIN!

OOPS!++ You have to be sincere!

If you knew the whole story of salvation you would know much of the above.

See below for more details IF YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW!

well my friend, it isn't only saying Jesus is your savior. It is believing it too, you can say a bunch of things and not truly mean them. So keep thinking you will be saved while doing sins? Obviously you don't accept Christ, which means you have some changes to make, basically no one has gone through their life without sinning accept Jesus Christ. We all have sinned and he has already forgiven us, we just have to make the steps towards him. He has his arms open, you just have to step into the light. Thinking you can sin as much as you want and at the end you will accept Christ? HA HA

First your Christianism? Christianity...Religion in general uses a risk-reward system to coerce/control people into taking "right action". Jesus is just an out like you say...You may do what ever you wish and ultimately be rewarded assuming you accept him as your saviour and do some minimal penance (usually pony up a few $$$ for the church). In the secular realm those who actually DO some good instead of PRAYING FOR GOOD are ultimately rewarded by actually FEELING GOOD about themselves. Believe me...those that do good are rewarded with heavenly lives...Those that pay lip service to actually doing anything...having too much faith...absolving themselves of responsiblity...will be punished by having ultimately hellish lives. PEACE!

There is no justice in Grace. There is only those who believe and those who do not. You are being judged solely on a belief not an action. And the proof for the belief is rather shoddy.

The justice demanded has been paid for by Jesus Christ.

Faith in Christ isn't a semantically "I believe" statement. Those who truly put their faith in Christ will strive to live a "good life" as a response to all that He has done for us.

There IS a reward system for believers. The good get crowns, robes, etc. The rest are saved as through fire. If your house burns down, you don't have much left besides your life, do you?
