What if you saw an illegal, read details?

Question

You and a group of minutemen watching over the border spot a brown skinned girl, about 9 to 10 years old walking towards a small residential area. She appears to be crossing the border but you're not sure. A few of the people you are with can't contact the border patrol, so they go to stop her. When they arrive where she is, they instead of questioning and detaining her, start to beat her. Do you stand and watch them do this, what if it leads to rape? After the authrities arrive it is determined that she is an American citizen walking back to her house after she had gone out chasing her dog that had escaped. How would you feel then?
What if you saw a girl same age but blond hair, fair skin, would they assume she was an illegal and have gone to stop her? What if she indeed was an illegal from europe, her parents migrated to mexico to then try and cross the border. During the crossing the girl got separated.

yea i know what you mean... i know this irish family who migrated to Mexico and crossed the border illegaly to the US, but since they looked white, it was easier for them to cross than a dark-skinned fellow..

What a ridicules scenario....How about staying in line with what actually IS happening. Many hundreds of thousands of people are illegally entering America. THAT is not some fairytale scenario. These people are costing America over 50 billion dollars a year, money that can be spent helping American homeless, or hungry Americans. Most analysts agree that to give amnesty would increase that cost 10X's to a whopping 500 billion dollars. It isn't about how many what if scenarios a person can make up...that game can be played all day long. It is about the laws of a sovereign nation, the very nation that has basically an open door policy to people from around the world, all we ask is that people enter America legally.

I would sure as hell try to stop them. Assuming that she is illegal because she is near the border would be wrong. I thought most people that lived near the border were hispanic, so does that mean they harrass people in their own yards? I guess if she looked ragged and as if she had been walking for days then that might be a tip off. But even if it was a white girl doing it then if they are gonna stop people stop everyone not just the dark people.

Man, too true. I'd report their butts so quick. Call 911! Can't literally kick their butts myself but I'd scream loud! And that's true there are a lot of "huero's" that are not from Mexico but migrated there from Europe. Too much drama nowadays with this immigration. Hopefully one day we can all learn to live with one another and share this great nation. Who knows? Maybe Mexico will become the place to live in the near future. Then Mexico will have to kick out illegal people that aren't from there too. But I think the "live together" option is better. But this isn't a perfect world *sigh*

wow this is a tough question i would not just stand around and let them beat her i would try my best to get them off of her. and if i did just stand around i would feel really bad for assuming she was illegal but she wasnt. as for the blonde girl it would be differcult because people may think that she is just an american girl i would question her anyway and ask her why was she walking over the border

The minutemen do not stop illegals from crossing the border. I would not allow the beating of anyone. I don't care if they are brown, blue, pink, white or green. Illegal is illegal.

Of course it has to do with skin color....Mexicans are brown skinned....I don't like that they have to pick her, because of skin color, but its just the way it is, the nature of the job....

I see where you are coming from, but I seriously doubt that would ever happen.....I know Border patrol agents have to take sensitivity training for those type of issues....

That's why I don't agree with the minutemen mission, they are not trained and surely have an agenda....

Well,considering I'm mostly pro-illegal,I'd help her.Actually,I'd ask her where her parents are(in english or spanish).And if I saw ANYONE beating and raping a CHILD,I'd try my best to seriously hurt them,no matter WHO the kid was.A child is a child,red,green,brown,black,white,or friggin purple polka dot---it's a child.No one should hurt a child,thats disgusting.

And furthermore,there are blonde haired,blue eyed mexicans.So thats not neccesarily true.But I get your point that some ppl stereo type against brown skinned ppl.It's sad that a person is judged on their color.I guess my half mexican boys are okay,because their skin came out white like mine and their hair is light,not black like their dads.Sad,huh?

And I would help any kid at any border.Atleast help them find their families safely.

Too many questions. But I'll answer two. If I saw grown men beating on a weak child they'll have to sew their manhood back together when I'm done with them. Weak pathetic cowards that beat on an outnumbered inferior human are nothing but trash in my eyes and I'll put them in place. But as for the European girl, I'd treat her as I do to all illegals, report them.
