I love your idea. Houses would have to be built much differently, but it is an incredible Idea that would solve the problem of having to remove trees for houses. That could work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell someone your Idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mmm, it'd help global warming. If everyone had trees, and no cars, then not only would the cities be pedestrian friendly and more attractive, global warming would pretty much be stopped. Too bad nobody's willing to listen.
You ever heard of those houses people build underground? They're environmentally friendly (solar energy for most of them), they don't take up lots of space, you don't need to spend much money on heating and cooling, they're a lot nicer looking than regular houses, and you don't destroy animals' habitats by building them. Hmm, after reading that, I think I'll go out, kill all the little critters, pollute some, build a collossal monster of a house, and then spend millions to air-condition it! w00t! ...humans have the strangest brains...

It wouldn't be stopped, but it might help a bit. The trees use carbon dioxide for photosynthesis, in which they release oxygen for us to breathe. Green plants help us a LOT, taking away the harmful gases that basically cause global warming. But no amount of trees can take away as much carbon dioxide as we are producing, with the huge population and with all of the combustion of fossil fuels that takes place on the planet. However, it may help reduce the speed of global warming, but we would need to eliminate most combustion and plant a lot of trees and wait a considerable amount of time for global warming to end.

It certainly would be interesting, it would probably slow the rate of global warming down slightly, the birds and squirrels would be thrilled to death, the homeless people would have an alternative to sleeping in the city park, but how many buildings would have to be rebuilt to support the weight of those growing trees? Not to mention the problem with irrigation/leaking? What about erosion? All that soil washing into the downspouts? Flowers sprouting in the gutters...the horror!

i think if there is a law to force anyone who owns a car or any other sort of machines which produce pollution, to grow a tree or trees enough to, by calculations, produce the same amount of fresh air that his car or machine produces smoke
it doesnt have to be on top of his house but i think governments can provide a place for that we would safe the glob
i wonder if that was real how many trees would big factories have to grow ..

That wouldn't be enough to "stop" global warming, but it would help slow it down a bit, and as you say, there are aesthetic reasons to do it anyway.

no growing trees alone prevent global warming. we have to prevent pollution. though carbondioxide is naturally released by us , we have to take remedial measures to prevent the leakage of carbondioxide.
