Personally I feel that when a person moves on, then you should let them. Bringing a persons conciousness back from a happy, safe place to a world of pain and sadness for our own need just seems selfish. If you need to see anyone I would recomend a counsillor.

Having said that my mother in law did see one and it help her. Make sure you go with one who has been recomended, and if you don't feel comfortable when you meet her/him, just leave.

Good Luck.

Yes

Most are fakes, and they tell you rubbish. Anyone intelligent would know straight away. I have seen one who really has a gift.

Looking back now, I am a bit ashamed and think I should not dabble. It's wrong. I think you would be better off speaking to people who have gone through similar experiences.

I sometimes think that 'psychics' prey on people like you who understandibly are looking for answers and may be confused. You could be told something that will mess with your mind, and that will not help you.

I'm not being a miserable git, but for your own good, be careful. You do not want to rake up 'bad emotions'. Remember your brother the way he was. If you're willing, go to church or chapel and you may feel better and more positive.

i have been to a few, the first one told me rubbish but she told my friend things she couldnt have known, the second one only charged 5.00 and donated half of that to the spiritulist church so i thought he would be good, he did tell me things about my dad, and grandma, but not specific enough he said an old lady in her 80s i said granny, most people have a dead grandparent, its not hard to guess she liked hymms, and the third one was rubbish he kept asking me questions and saying he already knew when i told him the answer, i think these are cleaver con people, out to earn alot of money, they prey on people who are grieving in the hope they can contact someone close, you always end up telling them more than you mean to. Alsoo been to spiritual church where they pick people out of the audience and say do you know someone called john, most people do, they ask is he in this world if you say yes then theyve got a message for him if you say no hes got a message for you, my advice is keep your money, i really wanted to believe i have lost all my family, and was desperate to get a message, now i think of the good memories i have instead i know my dad wouldnt have approved anyway.

i am a medium but also have had many readings done
i would advise if you wish to go to one , to do it through a spiritualist church where certain standards and requirements must be met
you can see the medium at one of the services then if you are happy with what you see , can book and appointment .. so its a good way to know what you are getting for your money :o) but you never know you may get a free reading at the service anyway
i will apply a few links below
there are some wonderful mediums out there xx

I wear a medium...but never been to one...

Y'know...this is my thought, even though you didn't ask for it...assuming people have spirts, and spirits of the dead can be contacted, I think it's terribly rude and inconsiderate. If you believe there's some kind of afterlife when someone dies, and hopefully it's better than what is here...why would you want to interrupt someone's afterlife? Do you think those spirits just hang around hoping the living will call on them?

Let the dead rest in peace...they put up with mundane stuff here on earth...they shouldn't be used to give us info on the afterlife or tell us how Elvis is doing or anything else...if I were a spirit, people calling me back to earth would annoy the heck outta me...

My husband killed himself I needed to know he was at rest,The medium didn't live near me and I had never seen her before,My father came through first and said Well I never believed in this lark before but here I am, which was true.
He mentioned 2 children boy and girl , mine and 2 grandchildren. Also he and my late mother were proud of the way I had got on with my life. She said when I walked in the room they were calling ...........which is my name.Lots more but then she said ...........is here and hes ok but sorry for the way he left you and for the fact that he didn't make life easy for me.He said I had a good husband now and not to feel guilty but get on and enjoy life. I felt much better after and theres no way she could have found out those facts.

I have and I do believe, but please be careful there are a lot of cons out there. Rather than a medium why not try a spiritualist meeting where any message which may come through will come through without any prodding of question by the medium to you. Try it - all they ask is that you have an open mind.

I have never been personally, but I know people who have. I just want to say be careful. There are a lot of charlatans out there who are experts at reading body language and other physiological signs that you show and know how to give you what you want. But you must know this already, sorry. I just don't want you to get hurt. Sorry to hear about your brother..

I wouldnt advise that, but you can do whatever you want too ! You will be attracting powers that are much greater than you are, and they are uaually not very friendly ones. You might start having bad dreams or you might start having bad things happening to you. And you might actually see you dead brother, but it not possible to see dead people. Did you know that spirits have a lot of power and when people are hurting( because we all lose someone we love) they can actually bring to us visions. But if dead people could come back to us, why would they stay dead ? Dont you think that they would rather be here with all of us, dont you think your brothr if he had a choice he would rather be here with you ...?

No. But i have been to Jesus. He saved my soul, and changed my life. The Bible says, The dead knows nothing. Read Deuteronomy 18:9-12 about contacting the dead.
