The coke is a fountain drink at McDonald's. They use a tool called a refracometer to measure the density of the syrup. McDonald's and coke have a standard that may be + or - a certain range. for the syrup to water ratio. The reason McDonald's is so popular is there system. Thought they don't have the best food the have consistency. If you go in a get french fries that are cold and limp, they are not following the system. If they are not good, people will not go to that location. Its the job of regional directors to monitor there products. People go to Mc Donalds know what they will get.

A major reason is the economical side of it. The food is so cheap, anyone can buy it. The taste really isn't that bad either if you don't eat it everyday. Another reason, it is very quick. Another reason, Kid's meals! This restaurant makes sure that it plays to everyone's liking by providing food for people of all ages.

Watch Supersize ME, the documentary. I truly believe that their food has an addictive quality to it. The guy in the Documentary found himself depressed and lethargic when he was not eating it and would experience a euphoria after eating a Mc D's meal...Pretty trippy

they put a secret ingredient in the fat they soak all their food in and this ingredient makes everyone addicted to the food. The coke is fountain pop and yes it is sweeter.

McDonalds food tastes pretty good, and it isn't as expensive as some other places. Plus they are everywhere! No matter where you go you can depend on their food being the same. Clean restrooms, clean stores, and you know what you are getting, and they are pretty fast.

because humans are inclined through our long history of not having enough food to eat to enjoy ( ie: this tastes good) food with high fat content so that our bodies can recieve massive amounts of calories.
